8 hurt in van-truck collision in Quezon

PAGBILAO, Quezon – Eight persons were injured in a collision between a commuter van and truck in Sitio Anos, Barangay Binahaan, this town, before dawn on Sunday, March 22.
Police said the victims were passengers of the van driven by Ricky, 51, of Leyte, Leyte.
Investigation said the van was on its way to Leyte, Leyte from Dasmariñas City, Cavite, when it collided with the rear portion of the truck driven by Joemer, 33, parked on the roadside.
Victims were taken to hospitals. Follow-up investigation is ongoing.
