FUJIFILM Philippines proudly presented the Nationwide Photo and Video Walk 2025 Exhibition, a curated showcase celebrating compelling narratives drawn from familiar landscapes, with the theme of “Contrasts”. Over 4,000 photographers and videographers joined the photo and video walk. FUJIFILM honored the most exceptional works that reflect the country’s cultural depth and diverse storytelling lens across 32 cities.
Capturing contrasts
The exhibit was held from March 20 to 22, 2026, at the Ayala Museum in Makati. It captured different aspects of Filipino life, from the walls of Intramuros to the historic Magellan’s Cross in Cebu, and Quezon Park in Davao, showing fresh and insightful ways to look at everyday things.
In the Open-to-All Category, standout works were awarded to Mark Albert Serrano from Luzon, Gem Almund Cañada from Visayas, and Abdel-aziz Masjiril from Mindanao, each presenting a powerful interpretation of “Contrasts.” They were awarded a FUJIFILM X-E5 camera with an XF23mm F2.8 kit lens to support their continued storytelling journey.
Within the FUJIFILM Exclusive Category, Benedic Torres for the Photo Category and Paul Christian Catoera for the Video Category were recognized for their exceptional entries, demonstrating excellence in both still and motion storytelling. Torres received a FUJIFILM X-T5 paired with an XF16-80mm kit lens, while Catoera was awarded a FUJIFILM X-H2S paired with an XF33mm F1.4 lens, equipping them to continue capturing stories that resonate.
Sharing a passion
In an exclusive interview, Glenn Galatan, FUJIFILM Marketing Manager for the Imaging Solutions Division, said: “Photography is best when shared with other people who share the same passion for the craft.” Glenn Gatan, - so for us with FUJIFILM, our aim is to create experiences for our consumers and their friends to be able to enjoy photography.”

“It’s for them not just to develop their craft, but also to meet other people, so that we can also support local communities, not just in Manila. We’re trying to cultivate little photography communities in as many cities and as many locations as we can,” Gatan said.
“With our wide range of imaging products, from instant photography, digital cameras, and quicksnap, we are really trying to encourage people from different skill levels to really appreciate taking photos up to actually printing them. That’s another goal that we want to reach,” Gatan said.
To help them reach that goal, FUJIFILM Philippines is set to hold the upcoming FUJIFILM Festival for the Community, by the Community, happening in May 2026. This next celebration promises to bring together even more photographers, videographers, and enthusiasts from across the nation. FUJIFILM remains committed to nurturing talent, celebrating stories, and giving every vision its spotlight.
