Man nabbed for setting sari-sari store on fire in Manila
Authorities have arrested a 29-year-old man for setting a sari-sari store on fire along Visayan Avenue corner Leo Street in Barangay 572, Manila, on Friday, March 20.
The Manila Police District (MPD) said the suspect was seen exiting his house carrying a flaming cardboard before placing it on the store, partially burning the structure before the fire was extinguished by nearby residents.
The witnesses quickly reported the incident to the police, prompting them to take the suspect into custody.
The police said he will be charged with arson.
