Police arrested a 39-year-old motorcycle reseller in a shabu buy-bust operation in Barangay South Signal, Taguig.
The suspect was identified as alias Nozaily, a resident of Barangay South Signal, who was tagged by the police as a high-value individual..
The entrapment operation happened along Tanyag Street in Barangay South Signal and was conducted by the Taguig police’s Station Drug Enforcement Unit.
During the operation, an undercover police officer acted as a poseur buyer and successfully purchased suspected shabu from the suspect.
Following the arrest, authorities recovered three plastic sachets containing shabu weighing 53.4 grams and valued at P363,120.
The police recovered a P500 used as buy-bust money and 10 pieces of P1,000 boodle money.
A criminal complaint for violation of Republic Act 9165 (Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002) is being prepared by the police for filing against the suspect before the Taguig City Prosecutor’s Office.
Brig. Gen. Randy Arceo, district director of the Southern Police District, commended the Taguig police for the operation.
