Netflix will use 23 cinematic cameras used for movies such as “Avatar.”
The production for the BTS show is composed of 1,075 people, including 1,000 local Koreans, and 75 TV specialists.
The LED screen on the stage has four panels representing the Korean flag.
After the walk-through, a panel discussion was held at Cinecube in Seoul attended by Brandon Yu, president of HYBE Music Group APAC; Brandon Riegg, vice president of Nonfiction Series and Sports at Netflix; Nicole Kim of Bighit Music; and English.
“Preparing for this performance. the question I got the most is why Gwanghwamun? All I can say is that it relates to the identity of BTS. We were focused on asking ourselves the question 'what is the most BTS?' What is something that only BTS can bring and show to the world,” said Yu.
He added, “And this is their comeback in four years time and it's going to be a historic moment.
To be able to celebrate this incredible moment with our fans at the heart of it all. To be able to celebrate this incredible moment with all of the fans at the most iconic space. to be able to celebrate this moment all together with the world. I truly believe that this is a truly rare cultural experience that we're creating here.”
