Legacy of care: EPPI's 2026 medical mission program

Service in action
Following the success of its first mission in 2024, Epson Precision (Philippines), Inc. (EPPI) team held another medical mission on February 5, 2026. This year’s outreach took place in Barangay Quipot, San Juan, Batangas, focusing on providing health services and support to the local community. Under the dedicated guidance of EPPI President Mr. Yushi Irie and Senior General Manager Mr. Ito Manabu, the activity emphasized EPPI’s commitment to Corporate Social Responsibility and its belief that community wellbeing is integral to business success.

Comprehensive health services delivered
A total of 246 beneficiaries received medical care during the mission. Epson Precision (Philippines), Inc.'s comprehensive health service comprises general consultations with 94 patients, 42 pediatric checkups, and 110 eye examinations, while 136 individuals received prescribed medicines and vitamins. Eyeglasses were distributed to 190 residents, addressing essential vision needs.
A key highlight was the Medical Equipment Handover Ceremony, where EPPI donated vital medical equipment and supplies to the Barangay Health Center, such as stethoscopes, nebulizers, blood glucose monitors, digital blood pressure monitors, thermometers, first aid kits, a Medical Oxygen Tank with Oxygen Regulator, and a wheelchair. These items, formally received by the Barangay Captain, Mr. Fernando B. Villa of Barangay Quipot, San Juan, Batangas, will support long-term healthcare services in the community.

A path to prevention
Epson Precision (Philippines), Inc. conducted a specialized health lecture for the residents and Barangay Health Workers, this session focused on the prevention and management of conditions such as flu and other seasonal respiratory illnesses, Diabetes and Hypertension by providing the community with practical knowledge on how to stay healthy and identify the possible symptoms before they escalate into more serious health issues.
Essential care issuance
Beyond the educational session, the initiative included health needs assistance to support the community’s long-term wellness. EPPI facilitated the distribution of medicines and multivitamins for both adults and children. This serves to enhance the natural energy of younger individuals while helping adults maintain their daily vitality. By providing these supplements, the mission ensures the community is not only well-informed but also fully prepared to embrace a healthy lifestyle. The program further extends its reach through the issuance of Eyewear, tailored for individuals of all ages. By making these essential tools, the mission supports the academic growth of younger residents and enhances the daily tasks of adults. This initiative ensures that the community enjoys the benefits of a clear vision, fostering a more connected and active lifestyle for everyone involved.
