Senior citizen hurt after being hit by SUV in Manila

A 66-year-old senior citizen was injured after she was hit by a sports utility vehicle (SUV) along Sobriedad corner Calabash Street in Sampaloc, Manila, on Wednesday, March 18.

According to the Manila Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (DRRMO), the victim sustained wounds on her face, left arm, and right foot. 

She was quickly given first aid by the medical responders and rushed to the nearest hospital for further treatment.

Authorities are still investigating the incident, while the SUV driver was temporarily placed in custody.
