Filinvest combines hotels, restaurants to create one major leisure hub

Filinvest Development Corp. (FDC) is centralizing its food and beverage operations under its hospitality unit as part of a broader strategy to pivot toward integrated leisure and wellness services.
In a disclosure to the Philippine Stock Exchange, the investment arm of the Gotianun family said it will transfer the assets of three restaurant entities—Fora Restaurants Inc., Quest Restaurants Inc., and Baker J Concepts Inc.—to Filinvest Hospitality Corp. for an undisclosed amount.
While the three restaurant companies were already ultimate subsidiaries of the parent firm, the reorganization places them directly under the management of Filinvest Hospitality to streamline the group’s corporate and operational framework.
Filinvest said the move to consolidate the operations of the restaurant entities under FHC is intended to streamline the Hospitality Group’s corporate and operational structure and achieve operational efficiencies.
Under the new structure, Filinvest Hospitality will assume direct control over these assets to manage its internal food and beverage operations. The move is designed to eliminate redundancies and improve operational efficiencies as the company expands its footprint in the Philippine tourism and lifestyle sectors.
The unit now oversees a diverse portfolio that includes the Mimosa Plus Golf Course in Clark, Aum Spa locations within Crimson properties, and the Timberland Mountain Bike Park in Rizal. By housing these varied assets under a single management umbrella, the company aims to position itself as a comprehensive curator of active lifestyle and wellness experiences.
Francis Gotianun, Filinvest Hospitality president and chief executive officer, said during a recent media briefing that the integration provides the focus necessary to drive growth in a competitive leisure market.
He noted that the company is targeting improved service delivery and guest engagement over the next five years as it scales its operations.
Filinvest Hospitality’s existing portfolio includes the Crimson, Quest, and Grafik hotel brands. The group is also betting heavily on its culinary reputation to drive traffic. Its dining collection includes Enye by Chele Gonzalez, which has been recognized by the Michelin Guide, and Mosaic Latin Grill, which recently earned top honors at the Condé Nast Johansens Awards for Excellence 2026.
Other brands being integrated into the main hospitality fold include Baker J, Firehouse Pizza, and Azure Beach Club.
The company plans to continue expanding its reach in key leisure and business destinations across the Philippines, leveraging its newly consolidated structure to capture a larger share of the country's recovering tourism spend.
