BFP: First Lady's "LAB for ALL'' project launched in Marikina City

The Bureau of Fir Protection has sent teams to assist in the launching of the LAB for ALL’’ project of First Lady Liza Araneta-Marcos on Tuesday, March 17, in Marikina City in a bid to maximize medical assistance to the public.
BFP Officer-in-Charge (OIC) Chief Supt. Wilberto Rico Neil Ang Kwan Tiu said they assigned multiple medical and operations personnel to ensure safety and security.
The “LAB FOR ALL: Laboratoryo, Konsulta at Gamot para sa Lahat” is a crucial initiative of the administration of President Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr., and the First Lady aimed at providing comprehensive medical services, free laboratory tests, and physical & medical attention to underserved communities.
The project offers free medical services to reach the 7,063 geographically isolated and disadvantaged areas (GIDAs) in the country.
President Marcos said the “LAB for All’’ project would benefit Filipinos who are most in need, especially senior citizens, persons with disabilities, pregnant women, and people who are immunocompromised.
Likewise, Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) Secretary Juanito Victor Remulla expressed his support to the project, directing agencies under his department to extend all out support to the “LAB FOR ALL” Caravans.
The First Lady thanked all the people, departments, agencies, and organizations who contributed for the successful launching of the program.
She personally ensured that every booth was equipped with sufficient medical equipment and medicines to serve the event's beneficiaries effectively.
Marikina City Mayor Maan Teodoro led other city officials who graced the event.
