EBDANE
The provincial government of Zambales has implemented a four-day work week to conserve energy amid the Middle East crisis.
Gov. Hermogenes Ebdane Jr. has issued an executive order implementing shortened working days – on-site at capitol offices in Iba from Monday to Thursday and remote on Friday.
Ebdane has ordered a skeletal force manning provincial front line offices on Fridays such as the Provincial Accounting Office, Treasury, Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (PDRRMO), and General Services Office.
Provincial hospitals and emergency services have round-the-clock services – President Ramon Magsaysay Memorial Hospital (PRMMH), San Marcelino District Hospital (SMDH), Candelaria District Hospital (CDH), and Ospital ng Sta. Cruz (OSC).
Ebdane directed all provincial offices and facilities to implement stringent energy conservation measures in support of the call of President Marcos.
“With the volatility of global fuel prices and the rising demand for energy, we in the provincial government must lead by example,” Ebdane said.
