Recognizing the connection between sleep and design, Uratex, the Philippines’ leading mattress brand, partnered with Our Home to bring the 8 Hour Movement: A Wake Up Call for Better Sleep, highlighting its latest sleep advocacy through an immersive lifestyle event.
In celebration of World Sleep Day, the SM Mall of Asia Music Hall was transformed into the Uratex Country Club, a curated installation exploring how sleep habits, bedroom design, and mattress innovation support healthier rest.
“Sleep is often discussed in terms of hours, but the environment surrounding the bed is just as important,” shared Christian Cheng, Uratex category manager. “Through the 8 Hour Movement, we want people to see how the right combination of habits, comfort, and mattress support can make a meaningful difference in sleep quality.”

For Our Home, the collaboration reflects the brand’s philosophy of helping Filipinos design spaces that support everyday living and well-being. “Bedrooms should feel like sanctuaries. When design, comfort, and the right mattress come together, the bedroom becomes a place where people can truly recharge,” said Glowie Robillo, Our Home senior assistant vice president for Marketing.

At the Country Club, guests experienced sleep as a lifestyle. The installation featured thoughtfully designed bedroom displays styled with Our Home furniture and Uratex linens, demonstrating how bedroom design, comfort, and mattress technology work together to create restful spaces. The curated bedroom suites featured several of Uratex’s mattress innovations, each designed to address different sleep preferences and support needs. Each room vignette illustrated how thoughtful styling, lighting, and furniture pieces from Our Home can help shape a bedroom that feels calm, comfortable, and supportive of better sleep.
The afternoon launch program featured insights from Dr. Jimmy Chang, president of the Philippine Society of Sleep Medicine, who discussed practical strategies to improve sleep hygiene and build healthier nightly routines. Celebrity personalities and lifestyle influencers, including Leon Barretto, Janeena Chan, Sofia Pablo, and Sam Concepcion, also shared tips on achieving eight hours of sleep despite demanding schedules.

The program concluded with a symbolic pledge supporting the 8 Hour Movement, reinforcing the campaign’s message that better days begin with better nights.
For Uratex, the initiative reflects decades of commitment to helping Filipinos sleep better. As guests explored the Country Club and experienced how environment, comfort, and mattress innovation shape sleep quality, their experience reinforced the campaign message: The path to more productive days and healthier living begins with the best eight hours of the night.
For the duration of World Sleep Month, Uratex mattresses are available at up to 50 percent off exclusively at Our Home until March 31.
