Seven titles at stake in Mister Pilipinas Worldwide 2026
Seven titles will be up for grabs in the upcoming edition of Mister Pilipinas Worldwide, as the organization continues to strengthen its position as the country’s premier platform for male pageantry.
MPW President Daumier Corilla confirmed during the recent presentation of 20 candidates competing this year that they will crown multiple winners to represent the Philippines in major international pageants.
“We are presenting the seven official titles that will be awarded in this year’s competition. And these titles are Mr. Supranational, Mr. International, Mr. Global, Manhunt Supermodel International, Mr. Cosmopolitan, Mr. Ecotourism, two runner-ups, and the seventh title which we will keep a secret for now while we continue to work on it, ” he stated.
Mister Pilipinas Worldwide recently announced that it is now operating independently and is led by a new generation of titleholders and pageant veterans. Corilla is at the helm as president, joined by Kenneth Cabungcal as vice president for creatives and marketing, and Joshua De Sequera as vice president for training and development.
Together, the team aims to elevate the competition and develop Filipino men who can compete confidently on the global stage.
“2026 is really about leveling up,” Corilla said. “We’re introducing a more modern approach: better training, stronger digital presence, and a stage experience that feels fresh and world-class. We want the candidates to feel that MPW isn’t just a pageant, it’s a full journey that helps them grow in every aspect.”
The Philippines has recently posted strong performances in several international male pageants, a sign of the growing competitiveness of Filipino delegates worldwide.
Among the country’s recent achievements are Kenneth Cabungcal’s fourth runner-up finish at Mister Supranational 2025 and Kirk Bondad’s victory at Mister International in Thailand.
Other notable placements include Kenneth Marcelino’s first runner-up finish at Mister Cosmopolitan 2025, Jether Palomo’s Top 11 placement at Mister Global 2025, Jordan San Juan’s third runner-up finish at Manhunt International Male Supermodel 2025, and Michael Angelo Toledo’s second runner-up placement at Man of the Year.
These results underscore MPW’s increasing influence in preparing Filipino representatives for international competition.
MPW candidates explore Negros Occidental
The Mister Pilipinas Worldwide 2026 delegates are currently visiting Negros Occidental, the competition’s first-ever official provincial partner, as part of a cultural and tourism immersion.
The tour includes visits to destinations such as Talisay City, Negros Occidental, and the highland municipality of Don Salvador Benedicto.
During the visit, candidates experience local culture and heritage while showcasing the province as a tourism destination. Among the highlights is their participation in the Panaad sa Negros Festival, often called the “Festival of Festivals,” which brings together the province's cities and municipalities to celebrate their traditions, industries, and cuisine.
Upon arrival at Bacolod–Silay International Airport, the candidates settled at Negros Residences before attending welcome activities at the Negros Occidental Provincial Capitol and the Capitol Social Hall.
The delegates also visited The Ruins for a heritage shoot and guided tour, followed by a stop at Café de Notre Dame for a taste of local cuisine.
The itinerary continues with visits to nature attractions, including Mambukal Mountain Resort and Campuestohan Highland Resort.
They are also scheduled to visit the Technology and Livelihood Development Center to learn about community livelihood initiatives.
For Corilla, the partnership with Negros Occidental reflects the organization’s broader mission of highlighting Filipino culture and communities.
“By choosing Negros Occidental as our official provincial partner, we want to highlight not just its beautiful destinations, but also the values, culture, and stories of the communities that make the province truly special,” he said.
