The Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) has partnered with the Pasay City General Hospital (PCGH) to ensure faster and more efficient medical assistance for its personnel, particularly those on the frontlines.
A memorandum of agreement (MOA) was signed on March 16 by MMDA Chairman Atty. Don Artes and PCGH Chief of Hospital I Dr. Jonathan Victor De Gracia, at the MMDA New Building in Pasig City.
The agreement grants MMDA employees—especially traffic enforcers and road emergency responders—immediate access to medical consultation, treatment, and other hospital services at PCGH.
Under the partnership, MMDA personnel will have improved access to medical consultations, diagnostic services, and other hospital-based treatments at the Pasay City-run facility.
The initiative underscores the shared commitment of both institutions to safeguard the health and well-being of government workers, while also strengthening public healthcare delivery through collaboration.
Artes said the initiative underscores the agency’s commitment to protecting its personnel, who face daily exposure to risks while managing traffic and responding to emergencies across Metro Manila.
De Gracia, meanwhile, welcomed the partnership and expressed optimism that it would further strengthen collaboration between the hospital and the MMDA in delivering quality healthcare services.
The Pasay City General Hospital, a government-run medical facility, is known for providing tertiary-level healthcare services to residents and nearby communities.
