During the launch of her newest project, GeLaVie by VIBBI, Angela reflected on her journey as an actress.
"I'd like to think na parang ito yung fruits ng lahat ng pinaghirapan ko before, and I just turned 24, sometimes I feel like, I'm too late to the game kasi marami po mas bata sa akin, mas talented and mas kilala, but I keep reminding myself na kung nasaan po ako ngayon, pangarap ko lang po noon (I'd like to think that this is the fruits of all my hard work before, and I just turned 24, sometimes I feel like, I'm too late to the game because there are many younger than me, more talented and more famous, but I keep reminding myself that where I am now, it was just a dream back then)," Angela said.
The actress also mentioned what she looks forward to working with VIVA.
"As for my plans, naman po, I still want to continue working with VIVA. I love VIVA, it is my home. And I want to keep doing my best, I want to hone more of my skills, kasi feeling ko po hindi pa siya on par with the professionals talaga, ayun po kasi yung goal ko ang gumaling talaga (As for my plans, I still want to continue working with VIVA. I love VIVA, it is my home. And I want to keep doing my best, I want to hone more of my skills, because I feel like I am not yet on par with the professionals, that's why my goal is to really get better)" she added.
Celebrating her 24th birthday last Saturday, March 14, Angela shared that she was in shock when Rabin gave her a Corgi.
"Hindi ko po talaga siya inexpect na bibigay niya talaga kasi nag-drop hints na po siya noon, kunwari nag-uusap po kami tapos may ipapakita po ako sa kanya na cat, then sabi niya mahilig ka ba sa cat or dog, then sinabi ko talaga sa kanya huwag niya akong reregaluhan (I didn't really expect him to actually give it to me because he had already dropped hints before. We were talking, and then I would show him a cat, then he asked me, 'Do you like cats or dogs?' Then I actually told him not to give me a gift)," Angela said.
Although it was a complete surprise for Angela, she mentioned that she was happy that Rabin made the effort to go to Subic to pick up the dog and then came back to Manila to surprise her.
"I felt so happy kasi somebody went through the trouble as far as Subic to get the dog and go back to Manila just to give the dog on my birthday. It's very touching," she added.
