Week-long Anilag Festival kicks off in Laguna

SANTA CRUZ, Laguna – The week-long Ani ng Laguna or Anilag Festival 2026 in this province is underway here on Monday, March 16.

A Mass officiated by Most Rev. Marcelino Antonio Maralit of the Diocese of San Pablo City and attended by Gov. Sol Aragones, Vice Gov. JM Carait, and department heads and provincial employees jumpstarted the festival with the theme Anilag Level Up 2026.

Aragones said that this year’s festival will be bigger, more organized, and more enjoyable for Lagunenses and visitors.

The festival serves as an important platform for promoting local tourism, supporting small businesses, and highlighting the province’s vibrant culture, Aragones added.

Police are on alert and reminded people to expect traffic and advised motorists to use alternate routes here. The event ends March 22.
