Muntinlupa tricycle drivers to get fuel subsidy

The Muntinlupa City government announced that the national government will give fuel subsidy or cash relief assistance to tricycle drivers. 

The payout of the fuel subsidy in Muntinlupa will be held on March 17, 23, and 24. 

For the list of beneficiaries and schedule of payout, the city government said tricycle drivers should contact the president of their Tricycle Operators and Drivers' Association (TODA). 

It said the list of beneficiaries was certified by each TODA, counter-checked by the Tricycle Regulatory Unit of the city government, and validated and approved by the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) to avoid duplication of names in other local government units that will also give the fuel subsidy. 

The DSWD will administer the payout with the help of the Muntinlupa Social Services Department and Muntinlupa Traffic Management Bureau. 

"Mariing ipinapakiusap na magpunta lamang sa oras at araw ng inyong schedule para maging maayos po ang ating distribution. Antabayanan ang announcement para sa iba pang schedule at karagdagang detalye para sa iba pang sektor (We kindly ask that you only come at the time and day of your schedule so that our distribution can be smooth. Stay tuned for the announcement for other schedules and additional details for other sectors)," the city government said.
