The Cool Smashers aim to regain their momentum and strengthen their bid for one of the last two qualifying round slots being contested along with Nxled, Akari and Farm Fresh.
Bernadeth Pons, the team’s leading scorer, is expected to fuel Creamline anew with her hard-hitting spikes with Tots Carlos, Jema Galanza and Pang Panaga providing support.
Versatile Jia De Guzman, currently the conference’s top setter, is also expected to ramp up the offense by setting up their spikers even more effectively.
But Farm Fresh has proven it can thrive under pressure, keeping themselves alive in the Top 4 chase after a five-set win over Choco Mucho last week to improve them to 3-4.
Trisha Tubu is expected to anchor the Foxies and join forces with Ces Molina, Royse Tubino and Alohi Robins-Hardy to keep their qualifying hopes burning.
Akari, likewise, seeks to bolster its qualifying round bid in its 4 p.m. duel with struggling Galeries Tower.
After losing its first three matches, the Chargers have rattled off four straight victories to re-enter the qualifying race and now loom as serious contenders for a Top Four finish.
