The local government of Caloocan has upgraded the administrative infrastructure of its health centers by distributing laptops, desktop computers, and printers, advancing the city's digitalization of services.
With this, the city aims to achieve more efficient, streamlined delivery of basic medical and health services in local communities, as well as to improve the processing, filing, and disposal of patient information and the inventory of prescription drugs and other medical supplies.
Mayor Dale Gonzalo “Along” Malapitan said that upgrading facilities and equipment in the city health centers is key to the improvement of Caloocan’s health programs.
Our goal is that by improving the facilities and equipment of the health centers, additional benefits and improved services will also benefit our countrymen and health personnel),” he said.
Mayor Malapitan also reiterated that services offered by health centers in the city remain free and accessible for residents of each barangay.
What we want is that when the Batang Kankaloo have medical needs, they will first go to the health centers in their respective barangays because they will no longer have to worry about the cost and quality of service),” he stressed.
