Marine officer killed in motorcycle crash

PASUQUIN, Ilocos Norte – An officer of the Philippine Marines was killed in a motorcycle crash here before dawn on Saturday, March 14.
Police identified the victim as Major Noel Anthony Muñoz Mana-ay, 41, assigned to the 4th Marine Brigade based in Burgos, Ilocos Norte, and a resident of Imus City, Cavite.
Investigation said the victim lost control of his white Kawasaki ER400D motorcycle on a curved portion of the road and rammed a concrete electric post.
The victim sustained serious injuries and was taken to a hospital where he was declared dead.
