The Caloocan City government will provide free shuttle service for City Hall employees starting March 16, as part of its efforts to conserve fuel and energy.
The shuttle service will operate from Monday to Friday and aims to help employees reduce transportation costs while supporting the city’s energy conservation measures.
According to the city government, the shuttle will transport employees to Caloocan City Hall–South from several pick-up points across the city.
The first trip will depart 6:45 a.m. from Caloocan North City Hall, followed by 7 a.m. from Caloocan Sports Complex, 7:30 a.m. from Mindanao Avenue, and 7:45 a.m. from Bonifacio Monument Circle in front of BPI.
The return trip will leave Caloocan City Hall–South at 5:30 p.m. going back to Caloocan City Hall–North.
The local government said the initiative forms part of the local government’s participation in national efforts to reduce fuel consumption and promote energy efficiency.
Meanwhile, the University of Caloocan City (UCC) announced that face-to-face classes will be temporarily suspended starting March 14, with online classes to be implemented every Friday and Saturday in all campuses to help conserve fuel and electricity.
