Young mom Bea Borres shares practical advice: 'Whatever you do, make sure you have money'

Actress and vlogger Bea Borres urged everyone, especially women, to save money as they navigate life.

Bea came to this realization after becoming a young mother on Dec. 15, 2025, though she did not announce her motherhood until January 2026.

"Sorry, sis, pero dapat may pera talaga kayo. Whatever you do, make sure may pera kayo. To young women out there, hindi ninyo malalaman kung kelan kayo mabubuntis eh. Unahin mo muna lagi ang sarili mo at pray. Kakayanin mo yan. (Sorry, sis, but you really need to have money. Whatever you do, make sure you have savings. To young women out there, you never know when you’ll get pregnant. Always prioritize yourself and pray. You can do it. Be strong)," Bea advised when asked for tips for young women during the launch of Peaboo baby products at Lola Restaurant in Quezon City.

Bea, 23, also said she is not yet ready to show her baby's face to the world. At the recent event, guests thought Bea was about to introduce her baby, Victoria Hope. But it never happened. She apologized to her guests.

"I'm so sorry. Diyan ako natatakot sa bashing. I can handle it pero kapag baby ko na ang binabash nila, guguho na ang mundo ko. That's why it's so scary to post a picture of your baby on social media sometimes. Tinitiis ko na lang talaga, pero soon ipo-post ko na kapag hindi ko na talaga kaya. (I'm really sorry. The thought of online bashing scares me. I can handle criticism directed at me, but if my baby becomes the target, it would break my heart. That's why sharing her photo on social media is so daunting. For now, I'm holding back, but maybe soon, I’ll share it when I’m truly ready)," she explained.

Bea did not discuss her daughter's father. Now that she's a mom, Bea said she is more interested in creating content than planning a return to showbiz.

"Lately, I enjoy producing content and being myself. I don't think showbiz is for me anymore, but if there are guest appearances, like roles as a villain or something comedic, I'd be open to it. I told Blythe that. I really enjoy sharing content online," said Bea, who is close friends with Andrea Brillantes and Ivana Alawi.

Bea debuted in the TV series Kadenang Ginto. She also appeared in Hiwaga ng Kambal, Maalaala Mo Kaya, Tols, Regal Studio Presents, and Happy ToGetHer.

Speaking about motherhood, Bea said, "Sometimes, I don't know if my child is hurt or if something's wrong. I just want to take away all her pain."

"It's hard to be a woman, but I am grateful for my female friends who helped me get to where I am now," she added. "I've realized I truly embrace my authentic self, and I genuinely enjoy making content."

Bea also shared that she has learned how to deal with online critics and bashers.

"I'm used to it now. It seems like almost every month there's a new issue. I don't even know how I cope sometimes. People think I'm strong because there's always something being said about me. My mind has just come to accept that people will always talk. They even used to call me Mother Sitang," she said.

"Sometimes I respond, but I try not to. Still, I find it fun. You're not the only ones who can speak up—I can, too. I'm really a fighter," she added.
