Taguig LGU launches land titling one-stop-shop

The Taguig City government launched the Land Titling Application One-Stop-Shop aimed at helping residents secure land titles faster. 

The program is being implemented by the Local Land Titling and Management Office (LLTMO) in partnership with the Department of Environment and Natural Resources–Land Management Bureau (DENR-LMB). 

It to assist beneficiaries of the amended Presidential Proclamation No. 172 and the city’s Handog Titulo program by offering a more convenient process for securing land titles.

Through this, residents who own land but have yet to obtain formal titles, including inherited properties from their ancestors, can now process their applications through the city government instead of going directly to national agencies.

Engr. Generoso Ignacio, head of the LLTMO, said the program brings land titling and management services closer to residents.

Asec. Director Engr. Romeo  Verzosa of the DENR-LMB said the initiative reflects the shared effort of national and local government to strengthen land administration services. 

“This activity reflects our shared commitment to strengthen land administration services and to bring government programs closer to the people we serve," he said.  

The program serves residents of North Signal Village, South Signal Village, Central Signal Village, Upper Bicutan, Central Bicutan, Lower Bicutan, New Lower Bicutan, and Western Bicutan—areas covered under Presidential Proclamation No. 172.

The Land Titling Application One-Stop-Shop accepts applications every Tuesday, allowing residents to directly process their land titling requests. Applicants may submit their documentary requirements at the LLTMO office located at the 3rd Floor Auditorium, Taguig City Hall, Gen. Luna Street, Barangay Tuktukan on Mondays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays ahead of their scheduled processing.

The process for Local Land Titling and Management Assistance includes the following steps:

- Submission of requirements, including Certificate of Actual Occupancy, Tax Declaration, valid IDs, two copies of 2x2 ID photos, Special Power of Attorney (SPA), and other supporting documents related to the land title application

- Document checking

- Verification of house tagging and lot status

- Document review and evaluation

- Filing of application

- Order of payment

- Payment of application fee
