11 hurt in Dagupan restaurant blast

DAGUPAN CITY – Eleven persons were injured in an explosion that hit a popular restaurant here on Friday, March 12.
The explosion was allegedly caused by a portable butane stove and caused panic among customers inside the establishment.
Emergency responders and police officers secured the area and helped the injured who were taken to hospitals.
Authorities are determining the exact cause of the explosion.
Officials reminded restaurant owners and the people to handle portable gas stoves with care to prevent similar incidents.
