Man shot dead in birthday party in Batangas

SAN JUAN, Batangas – A 23-year-old man was killed and his friend was wounded during a drinking spree in a birthday party in Barangay Pulangbato here on Wednesday night, March 11.
Police identified the fatality as Mark and the wounded as Jomare, 21.
Investigation said the victims and suspects Jun Jun and JR were having a drinking spree on a birthday party when an altercation erupted.
One of the suspects drew a gun and shot the victims. Mark died on the spot while Jomare was wounded in the leg and taken to a hospital.
The suspects fled onboard a motorcycle to Barangay Sampiro here.
Police are conducting follow-up investigation.
