Nxled finally snapped its string of misfortunes with a 20-25, 25-15, 25-15, 25-23, 25-19 victory over ZUS Coffee in the Premier Volleyball League All-Filipino Conference at the Filoil Centre in San Juan City on Thursday, March 12.

The triumph pulled Nxled level at 4-4, reigniting its bid for a top-four finish and a spot in the qualifying round.
ZUS Coffee, for its part, sank deeper into the cellar with a 1-7 mark.
Jonah Sabete also paced the Chameleons with her all-around game, firing 16 kills and posting three blocks to finish with 19 points, while MJ Phillips contributed 12 points.
Nxled overcame ZUS Coffee’s solid defense led by Thea Gagate and Riza Nogales, who combined for nine of the team’s 10 blocks, but their efforts ultimately went in vain.
Gagate finished with 16 points, while Cess Robles and Jovelyn Gonzaga had 13 and 11 points, respectively, in a losing effort.
