2 foreign nationals linked to P6.8-B shabu smuggling in Occidental Mindoro fall

CAMP NAKAR, Lucena City –Two Chinese nationals were arrested for their alleged involvement in a P6.8-billion shabu smuggling attempt in Paluan, Occidental Mindoro.
Troops earlier recovered 43 sacks of suspected shabu on Tuesday, March 10, in an abandoned speedboat on the coastline of Paluan.

Recovered from them were 30 packs of suspected shabu weighing one kilo each.
Solcom said these are believed to be part of the same smuggling attempt and are expected to further increase the total volume and estimated value of the recovered illegal drugs.
