Vingroup, Vinhomes enter Top 500 of Time's Asia-Pacific rankings
Vingroup JSC and its real estate subsidiary Vinhomes JSC have been named among the top 500 enterprises in the region by Time magazine, marking a milestone for Vietnamese conglomerates as they seek a larger footprint on the global economic stage.
In the newly released "Asia-Pacific’s Best Companies of 2026" report, Vingroup secured the 57th position with an overall score of 89.68. Vinhomes followed at 352nd with a score of 80.69. The rankings, compiled in partnership with data firm Statista, evaluate companies based on a weighted formula accounting for financial performance, environmental, social, and governance (ESG) transparency, and employee satisfaction.
Vingroup’s high placement follows a record-breaking fiscal year. The Hanoi-based group reported consolidated net revenue of VND 332.77 trillion for 2025, a 76% increase from the previous year. Management attributed the growth to a dual strategy of aggressive real estate deliveries and significant momentum in the technology and industrial sectors, led by its electric vehicle arm, VinFast.
Vinhomes also posted record results, with adjusted consolidated net revenue reaching VND 183.923 trillion in 2025. Consolidated profit after tax stood at VND 42.111 trillion, representing year-on-year growth of 30% and 20%, respectively. These figures surpassed the company's internal targets and bolstered its standing in the regional real estate sector.
A significant driver of the high rankings was the group's focus on ESG initiatives. Vingroup has increasingly integrated sustainability into its core operations, specifically through the development of a comprehensive EV ecosystem. Within the real estate division, Vinhomes is pivoting toward what it calls an "ESG++" model. This framework is being pioneered at the Vinhomes Green Paradise project in Can Gio, which aims to meet BREEAM Communities and ISO 37122 standards. The project focuses on five pillars: environment, social, governance, regeneration, and climate change adaptation.
The report also highlighted corporate culture, with Vingroup ranking 55th globally in the employee satisfaction category. Vinhomes placed 335th in the same metric. Both companies have consistently topped domestic "Best Workplace" surveys in Vietnam, a factor the companies say is critical to maintaining long-term human capital.
The inclusion marks the third consecutive year that the Vingroup ecosystem has appeared in Time’s global assessments. VinFast was previously recognized in the 2024 list of the world’s most influential companies, while Vingroup was the sole Vietnamese representative in the "World’s Best Companies 2025" ranking.
The persistent presence of Vietnamese firms in these regional leaderboards underscores the growing influence of the Southeast Asian nation's economy. Time, the century-old New York-based publication, uses these rankings to identify firms that are not only profitable but also demonstrate accountability to their workforces and the environment.
