The signing ceremony was led by Mayor Francis Zamora and Governor Sol Aragones at the Laguna Sports Complex in Sta. Cruz, Laguna. It coincided with the province’s Women’s Month celebration, which was attended by around 4,000 women.
Aside from programs that support and uplift women, the agreement also aims to promote the sharing of best practices in governance and community development.
“This Sisterhood Agreement signifies our shared commitment to strengthen cooperation and partnership between the City Government of San Juan and the Province of Laguna, while promoting the exchange of best practices in governance and community development,” Zamora said.
The ceremony was attended by officials from both local government units, community leaders, and women’s groups who took part in the Women’s Month activities organized by the provincial government.
