P200,000 bounty for DPWH engineer's gunman

TACLOBAN CITY – Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) Secretary Vince Dizon and former Northern Samar Rep. Paul Daza have each offered a P100,000 reward or a total of P200,000 for any information
leading to the arrest of Sgt. Jerome Lluz Tejero, the suspect in the murder of Engr. Karen Corsino del Valle of the DPWH-Northern Samar 1st District Engineering Office.
Tejero is a member of the Philippine Army assigned to the 8th Infantry Division in Barangay Maulong, Catbalogan City. He fled after the incident.
Del Valle’s 23-year-old brother was wounded during the shooting in Barangay Dalakit, Catarman, Northern Samar, on Monday, March 2.
The victims were taken to the Northern Samar Provincial Hospital in Catarman where Del Valle was declared dead.
Dizon visited Del Valle’s wake in Catarman before inspecting the Maharlika Highway in Samar on Monday.
