Marantan tapped to head PRO 4-A

CAMP VICENTE LIM, Laguna – Police Brig. Gen. Hansel Marantan, head of the Highway Patrol Group (HPG), has been appointed as director of Police Regional Office 4-A or the Cavite, Laguna, Batangas, Rizal, and Quezon region.
Marantan’s appointment was effective March 9.
He replaced Police Brig. Gen. Paul Kenneth Lucas, who was appointed director of the Special Action Force (SAF). Lucas takes over from SAF chief Police Major Gen. Mark Pespes who is retiring.
The new HPG director is Police Brig. Gen. Jessie Tamayao, executive officer of the Directorate for Police Community Relations (DPCR).
