3,703 Manila seniors receive P10K milestone cash gifts

A total of 3,703 elderly Manileños will receive P10,000 each in recognition of their longevity and contributions to society, the local government said.

The program was organized by the National Commission for Senior Citizens in partnership with the Manila City Government through the Office of Senior Citizens Affairs (OSCA) under the Expanded Centenarians Act.

Under the law, Filipino senior citizens who reach the milestone ages of 80, 85, 90, and 95 are entitled to a P10,000 cash gift from the national government.

Those who reach 100 years old are granted P100,000 and a Letter of Felicitation from the President of the Philippines in recognition of their extraordinary longevity.
