'Edited pala to??': Netizens poke fun at Mayor Vico's virtual tour of new health center

Pasig City Mayor Vico Sotto has once again taken the internet by storm after his virtual tour of the newly built E. Santos Health Center earned praise and laughter from netizens on Sunday, March 8.

In a Facebook video posted on his official page, Sotto was seen conducting a virtual tour of the three-story, P13.5 million facility while showcasing its brand-new offices and amenities.

"Ang maganda sa mga bagong health center natin ngayon, ay pasok sila sa Department of Health (DOH) standards. Mapapansin na marami sa mga lumang center ay masisikip o di angkop/kulang ang infra works sa pangangailangan (The good thing about our new health centers today is that they meet Department of Health standards. It can be noted that many of the old centers are cramped or have inadequate infra works to meet the needs of the people)," Sotto said.

"Ngayon, kumukuha muna tayo ng DOH Permit To Construct at kinukonsulta ang mga "end user" sa pagpaplano, kaya mas sakto ang mga pinapagawa para sa mga serbisyo ng health center (Now, we are first obtaining a DOH Permit To Construct and consulting with "end users" in planning, so the construction work is more accurate for the health center services)," he added.

The mayor's virtual tour has also become viral after being hailed by the public for its "unique" editing style that captured the hearts and laughter of netizens.

"Edited pala to?? Grabe hindi halata! (This video is edited?? Wow, it doesn't feel like one!)," one user joked.

"The technology is very 2026! Hilong hilo po kami mayor ???? (You've made us so dizzy, mayor)," one comment read.

"POV: May ocular visit ka pero work from home (POV: You have an ocular visit, but it's work from home)," another netizen commented.

"Mayor walkthrough po ba yan or floatthrough? (Mayor, is that a walkthrough or a floatthrough?)," another quipped.

Sotto's video has gained more than 254,000 reactions, 9,600 comments, and 21,600 shares as of Monday, March 9.
