Tricycle driver stabbed dead in Vigan City

VIGAN CITY, Ilocos Sur — A 49-year-old tricycle driver was allegedly stabbed to death by a fellow tricycle driver during a heated altercation here on Sunday morning, March 8.
Police identified the victim as Joe of Barangay IV, Vigan City.
Investigation said the suspect, Rene, 53, stabbed the victim several times. Joe was taken to a hospital where he was declared dead.
The suspect but was arrested by police  during a hot pursuit operation.
Follow-up investigation is ongoing.
