CALASIAO, Pangasinan – Motorists trooped to gasoline stations here on Sunday as a big-time oil price increase is anticipated on Tuesday, March 10.
Long lines of cars and motorcycles formed on roads leading to gasoline stations in the province.
In Binmaley, motorists expressed concern as gasoline stations displayed “Out of Stock” signs.
The Department of Energy (DOE) reminded gasoline stations to follow official pricing guidelines and avoid any unsanctioned price increases.
Authorities continue to monitor gasoline stations to ensure fair practices and discourage hoarding.
Motorists were advised to plan trips wisely, remain patient in queues, and check updates from their local fuel stations to avoid unnecessary stress.
