Manila LGU issues traffic advisory ahead of March 8 fun runs

The Manila City Government has issued a traffic advisory on the road closures and alternative routes for the upcoming 2026 FCC Women’s Run PH and 12th AmCham Schola Run on Sunday March 8.
Road closures starting 1:30 a.m. of March 8:
1. Roxas Boulevard (northbound lane) from Quirino Avenue to Katigbak Drive and Roxas Boulevard (southbound lane) from P. Ocampo Avenue to Katigbak Drive
2. Quirino Avenue (westbound lane) from Adriatico Street to Roxas Boulevard
3. T. M. Kalaw Avenue (westbound lane) from M. H. Del Pilar Street to Roxas Boulevard
4. Bonifacio Drive from Anda Circle to Katigbak Drive
5. Katigbak Drive and South Drive
6. Independence Road
7. P. Burgos Avenue from Roxas Boulevard to Jones Bridge (northbound) straight to Quintin Paredes Street corner Ongpin Street
8. Ma. Orosa Street from P. Burgos Avenue to Kalaw Avenue
9. Finance Road from P. Burgos Avenue to Taft Avenue
10. Victoria Street from P. Burgos Avenue to Muralla Street
11. Muralla Street from Sta. Lucia Street to A. Soriano Avenue
12. Sta. Lucia Street from Muralla Street to A. Soriano Avenue
13. A. Soriano Avenue (eastbound lane) from Muralla-Solana Streets to Anda Circle
14. Escolta Street corner Muelle del Banco service road
Vehicle rerouting plan:
1. Vehicles coming from Taft Avenue (northbound lane) intending to use Jones Bridge may proceed to MacArthur Bridge or Quezon Bridge to point of destination.
2. Vehicles coming from Kalaw Avenue intending to use Roxas Boulevard (southbound) shall turn left to M. H. Del Pilar to point of destination.
3. Vehicles coming from Ma. Orosa Street intending to use P. Burgos Avenue shall turn right to Kalaw Avenue, to Taft Avenue to point of destination.
4. Vehicles coming from A. Mabini Street shall turn right to Kalaw Avenue to point of destination.
5. Vehicles coming from U. N. Avenue intending to use Roxas Boulevard shall turn left or right to Roxas Boulevard shall turn left or right Roxas Boulevard service road to point of destination.
6. All trailer trucks/heavy vehicles coming from Pasay City using Roxas Boulevard (northbound) shall turn right to Pres. Quirino Avenue to point of destination, while light vehicles may use Roxas Boulevard service road (northbound).
7. Vehicles coming from Pres. Quirino Avenue (westbound lane) shall turn left to Adriatico Street to point of destination.
8. Vehicles coming from Bonifacio Drive shall turn left to Anda Circle to point of destination.
9. Vehicles coming from Jones Bridge, MacArthur Bridge and Quezon Bridge (southbound) shall use Taft Avenue to point of destination.
10. Vehicles coming from Ayala Boulevard (westbound lane) shall turn right to Taft Avenue to point of destination.
11. Vehicles coming from Dasmariñas Street and S. Padilla Street intending to use Quintin Paredes Street shall turn right to Yuchengco Street, then turn right to Ongpin Street to point of destination.
12. Vehicles coming from Binondo-Intramuros Bridge (southbound lane) shall take A. Soriano Avenue (westbound lane) to point of destination.
13. All trailer trucks/heavy vehicles coming Mel Lopez Boulevard (R-10) going to Roxas Boulevard shall turn left to Capulong Street, straight to Yuseco Street to Lacson Avenue to point of destination (old truck route).
Motorists are advised to plan their travels carefully and pass through the designated rerouting route to avoid traffic on the said date.
