Graduates with Latin honors get P2.37-M cash incentives in Muntinlupa
The Muntinlupa City government awarded P2.37 million in cash incentives to residents who graduated with Latin honors.
Trina Biazon, wife of Mayor Ruffy Biazon, led the awarding of the incentives under the Honor Graduates Incentives Program of the Muntinlupa City government.
A total of 165 outstanding graduates received the cash incentives. They included four summa cum laude graduates who received P30,000 each; 65 magna cum laude graduates who got P20,000 each; and 95 cum laude graduates who were given P10,000 each.
“Congratulations sa Batch 5 & 6 of our Latin Honor Awardees na pinarangalan sa ilalim ng Honor Graduates Incentives Program ng Pamahalaang Lungsod! (Congratulations to Batch 5 & 6 of our Latin Honor Awardees who were honored under the City Government's Honor Graduates Incentives Program!),” said Mayor Biazon.
The incentives are being implemented through the Muntinlupa Scholarship Division (MSD).
The reward incentives offered by the MSD is part of the city government's drive to spur academic excellence on all levels, in line with the mayor's education agenda.
