Cebu featured in Netflix K-series 'Boyfriend on Demand' with Jisoo, Seo In-guk

Different scenic locations in Cebu in the Philippines are featured in Netflix’s new Korean series “Boyfriend on Demand,” starring BLACKPINK’s Jisoo and actor Seo In-guk.

In the series, Jisoo is Seo Mi-rae , an exhausted webtoon producer who escapes reality through a subscription-based virtual dating simulation program, where she meets the boyfriends of her dreams.

The series’ virtual boyfriends include Seo Kang-jun, Lee Soo-hyuk, Ong Seong-wu, Lee Jae-wook, Lee Hyun-wook, Jay Park, Kim Young-dae, and Lee Sang-yi.

“Filmed at Shangri-La Mactan, Cebu and the stunning Cebu sea, the breathtaking locations make the drama even more romantic,” the Philippines’ Department of Tourism posted on Facebook.

The series was also filmed at Bluewater Maribago Beach Resort, El Mar Resort Cebu and Nustar.

In February last year, Jisoo and Seo In-guk were in Cebu for the filming of “Boyfriend on Demand.”

“Boyfriend on Demand” is available on Netflix.
