TXT's Yeonjun featured in first World Baseball Classic tournament soundtrack
Yeonjun, a member of K-pop boy band Tomorrow X Together, is one of the featured artists in World Baseball Classic’s first-ever original tournament soundtrack.
The three-song soundtrack is for the 2026 World Baseball Classic and produced by Grammy-winner Tainy.
The song “Make It Count” features Yeonjun, Becky G. and Myke Towers, “My Place” with Fujii Kaze and “MVP” with Young Miko.
The soundtrack, distributed by Republic Records, is available on Spotify, Apple Music. It will also be featured across MLB and the Classic’s social media platforms, in-park activations and throughout broadcast coverage of the tournament.
Tainy is stepping up to the plate as the official music producer for the 2026 World Baseball Classic. Spearheading the tournament’s sonic identity, Tainy created a first-of-its-kind custom soundtrack for Major League Baseball.
For the global vibe, the project will feature multilingual tracks in Japanese, Korean, Spanish and English. Tainy brings his signature technical expertise—alongside the creative input of Albert Hype and Jota Rosa—to the anthem track and additional songs inspired by the universal pulse of the game and the electric energy of fans from across the world.
The anthem track for the tournament, "Make It Count" combines distinct musical genres—ranging from Latin pop and reggaeton to the precision and energy of K-pop—to reinforce the Classic’s status as an event that brings together multiple cultures through global music and international baseball.
Young Miko’s “MVP” channels the pride of her native Puerto Rico and the island's deep-rooted connection to the game
Joining the celebration is Japanese artist Fujii Kaze with the cross-cultural collaboration “My Place,” honoring the spirit of the sport and the championship legacy of Japan.
Together, these artists showcase how baseball’s rhythm resonates across different languages and borders, uniting fans in celebration of the World Baseball Classic.
"The World Baseball Classic is a special celebration of national pride and elite competition that resonates far beyond the diamond,” said Uzma Rawn Dowler, MLB chief marketing officer and senior vice president, Global Corporate Partnerships. “By collaborating with a visionary like Tainy to produce our first-ever original soundtrack, we are leaning into the intersection of sports and music to connect with fans on a deeper cultural level. Bringing together the influence of these talented musical artists from around the world allows us to amplify the energy of the tournament and showcase the vibrant spirit that defines modern baseball.”
