Japanese boy group Ballistik Boyz releases single 'Perfect'

Japanese dance and vocal group Ballistik Boyz from Exile Tribe released the single “Perfect” ahead of their upcoming EP “Beat.” 

Building on the success of their Ballistik Boyz Live Tour 2025 "Impact," which ran from June to November 2025, they officially entered the second chapter of their journey. 

2026 marks the beginning of their full-scale activities, with “Perfect” setting the tone for a year of bold musical exploration and more grounded, relatable themes.

“‘Perfect’ is the perfect spring love song to match this season. We hope you’ll wrap yourself in its comfortable sound and the warm, heart-touching world of its lyrics, and enjoy that happy atmosphere,” said member Masahiro Sunada or Masa. 

About the inspiration for the track, he said, “Since ‘Perfect’ has a refreshing and uplifting sound, it’s the kind of song to listen to on your way to school or during your commute. The lyrics are very positive, too — the message is that even the parts of ourselves we might not think are perfect can become something positive depending on how we look at them. I believe this track can lift your mood no matter the situation!”

Built around an emotional rock sound with a comfortable, mid-tempo groove, the song features lyrics written by Bby Nabe, vividly painting youthful and vibrant scenes that are characteristic of Ballistik Boyz. Its quiet warmth makes it a perfect companion for the spring season — a track that can touch anyone’s heart.

“Perfect” follows the group’s recent single “Winter Glow,” a heartwarming and slightly bittersweet track that tenderly captures the cold season’s romance. 

While “Winter Glow” looked back with a mature, nostalgic perspective, “Perfect” pivots toward the brightness of spring, showcasing Ballistik Boyz’s versatility and expanding musical palette.

As the group prepares for the April launch of “Beat,”, they remain focused on the fans who have championed their growth. 

Masa said, “The other songs on our upcoming EP, ‘BEAT’, have completely different styles, showing the versatile nature of Ballistik Boyz. Last year, our first Asia tour gave us new global goals, and we are working hard to create more opportunities to meet you all in person. We really look forward to the day we can see you again!”
