Two gold traders were robbed by four motorcycle-riding men who posed as their clients during a transaction in Barangay San Juan, Taytay, Rizal, on Wednesday, March 4.
The Taytay Municipal Police said the victims were supposed to meet the men in Rose Royal Subdivision to buy 50 grams of gold from them.
Upon arriving at the meetup place, the men declared a hold-up and held the victims at gunpoint as they took the victims' money worth P500,000 and their Honda Click motorcycle.
The robbers escaped in the direction of Manila East Road in Taytay.
The police have launched a hot-pursuit operation against the suspects who are still at large.
