The Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) on Thursday, Mar. 5, assured foreign workers and employers that applications for Alien Employment Permits (AEPs) continue without delay and that work authorization stays on schedule.
The Department continues to accept applications for new permits, renewals, and certificates of exclusion or exemption.
These applications can be submitted either physically at DOLE Regional Offices or electronically.
“All applicable fees must be settled at the Regional Cashier’s Office. Upon payment, a manual tracking number or barcode will be issued to the applicant, serving as the official reference throughout the evaluation process,” DOLE explained.
A Temporary Certification of AEP Approval is issued to serve as valid proof of employment until physical cards are released.
Evaluators are available for on-site consultations to assist applicants with filing requirements or status inquiries.
For inquiries, applicants may contact the AEP Unit of the Bureau of Local Employment via email at [email protected], by phone at 8528-0108, or visit public assistance desks at DOLE Regional Offices.
