Apple reveals its most affordable MacBook yet - the MacBook Neo

If you’ve ever wondered what it's like to own a MacBook, Apple’s latest release will finally convince you to get one. The MacBook Neo starts at only P39,990, making this the cheapest MacBook release yet.
Targeted at students and first-time MacBook owners, the MacBook Neo with A18 Pro features a durable aluminum design, a 13-inch Liquid Retina display, and boasts an all-day battery life.
Weighing only 2.7 pounds, the MacBook Neo is perfect for students on the go, with bright colors (blush, indigo, silver, and a new citrus shade) that will surely have students excited to get their hands on it.
Encased in a durable aluminum design, the 13-inch Liquid Retina display features a 2408 x 1506 resolution, 500 nits of brightness, and support for up to 1 billion colors. The Anti-reflective coating on the screen offers clear visuals in any lighting condition, even when you’re trying to get work done outside.
Powered by an A18 Pro chip, the MacBook Neo will be able to handle everyday workload such as creating documents, streaming content, and even editing photos. Students (or even young professionals) may be curious about AI tasks such as summarizing notes and cleaning up photos, which will be available on the Neo.
No time to charge? No problem, the MacBook Neo delivers up to 16 hours of battery life on a single charge. Allowing it to keep up with users, whether they are rushing to class or getting work done in coffee shops all day.
The Mac Keyboard and new multi-touch trackpad will surely help with those long essays and thesis writing. A MacBook Neo feature is Touch ID, which helps with login and authentication and lets you make purchases through Apple Pay.
Connectivity for the MacBook Neo includes two USB-C ports, a headphone jack (if you’ve noticed wired headphones are making a comeback), Bluetooth 6, and Wi-Fi 6E.
The MacBook Neo is priced at P39,990 for the 8GB+256GB variant, while the 8GB+512GB model will cost P46,990 and will be available soon via the Apple store and Apple Authorized Resellers.
