Police arrested four men, including a convicted drug offender, in separate operations in Taguig and Muntinlupa on March 4.
The Warrant and Subpoena Section of the Taguig police arrested alias Armando, 46, ranked as the No. 4 most wanted person (station level) for March.
He was nabbed in Barangay Western Bicutan based on a warrant of arrest for a case of qualified sexual assault issued by Presiding Judge Loralie Cruz Datahan of the Taguig Regional Trial Court Branch 69. The court recommended a bail of P200,000 for his provisional liberty.
In Muntinlupa, the Muntinlupa police arrested alias Oyo-Boy, 34, tagged as the No. 5 most wanted person (station level) for March, in Planas Ville, Barangay Tunasan.
His apprehension was based on a warrant of arrest for a case of violation of Section 11 (possession of dangerous drugs) of Republic Act 9165 (Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002) issued by Acting Presiding Judge Desiree Gertrude Orquiola-Moldez of the Muntinlupa Regional Trial Court Branch 206.
In Taguig, the police arrested alias Ruel, 25, the No. 5 most wanted person (station level) who was convicted in a case for violation of Section 11 of Republic Act 9165. He was arrested at Gate 3, Fort Bonifacio in Taguig based on warrant of arrest for service of sentence issued on Jan. 28 by Presiding Judge Marivic Curdilla Vitor of the Taguig Regional Trial Court Branch 266.
In a separate operation, the Taguig police nabbed alias Joel, 42 , ranked as the No. 7 most wanted person (station level) at his residence in Barangay Katuparan, Taguig .
The arrest was effected by virtue of a warrant of arrest for service of sentence in a case for violation of Section 11 of Republic Act 9165. The warrant was issued last Dec. 3 by Presiding Judge Jonathan Honorato Del Mar Lock of the Taguig Regional Trial Court Branch 267.
Brig. Gen. Randy Arceo, district director of the Southern Police District, commended the police for the implementation of the warrants.
