2 drug suspects nabbed in Taguig

Police arrested two men in a shabu buy-bust operation in Barangay Central Bicutan, Taguig on March 5.

The two arrested street-level drug personalities were identified alias Totong, 36, and alias Chester, 35, both residents of Central Bicutan.

During the operation, the Taguig police's Station Drug Enforcement Unit (SDEU) confiscated six plastic sachets containing 15 grams of shabu valued at P102,000, a genuine P500 bill used as marked buy-bust money, and two genuine P100 bills.

The suspects brought to the SDEU office for documentation and filing of appropriate charges for violation of Sections 5 (sale, trading, administration, dispensation, delivery, distribution and transportation of dangerous drugs and/or controlled precursors and essential chemicals) and and 11 (possession of dangerous drugs) of Republic Act 9165 (Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002).
