Good things await those who choose patience, especially in love. Believe that the right moment will bring you something even more beautiful than you ever imagined.

This is the uplifting message of the Puso Movement, creators of the vertical series "Wait Muna," which inspires young people to celebrate the journey and trust that perfect timing brings the most meaningful love stories.
"We created this to show not just the consequences of impatience, but to empower and protect the youth. Young people are full of dreams and energy, and we want to remind them that waiting can spare them from heartaches and open the door to greater joy. We hope that after seeing this film, they will be inspired to wait for love that is truly worth it," said Rev. Faythe Santiago-Mendoza, Puso Movement Vision Keeper, during a recent media conference in Quezon City.
Faythe added, "At the heart of our movement is the next generation—the future of our country. We believe in their strength and potential, even as they face challenges like identity, social pressures, and more. That's why we're here—to walk with them, support them, and help them make choices that lead to a brighter tomorrow."
Rev. Jamey Santiago-Manual, Puso Movement Executive Leader, shared that the series, soon to be a movie, aims to uplift, inspire, and bring healing to the hearts of today’s generation.
"Young hearts today are passionate and driven by love. That’s why we need movements like this—to guide, uplift, and bring healing to this generation, helping them discover the beauty and strength found in waiting," Jamey said.

Rev. Mitch Santiago-Semana, Puso Movement Executive Leader, emphasized that true love and purity shine brightest when we wait for the right time. She shared that real men have the strength and courage to wait.
"Love and purity aren’t just rules to follow. They are a beautiful invitation—especially to young men—to rise up, to wait, and to become men of true strength and character," she said.
Rev. Lovely Santiago-Go, Puso Movement Executive Leader, added, "We want everyone to know that love can wait—and waiting is beautiful. It reminds us that each person is precious and worth waiting for. The right person will come at the right time, and that’s the hopeful message we want to share through our film."
Jeddah Lyn 'Jezz' Monte, film producer, shared why she decided to co-produce with the project. "Since 2019, I’ve wished something like this existed when I was younger. It might have saved many from regrets and heartaches. When the opportunity came, I knew it was a calling—and I feel honored to be part of this mission."

Scriptwriter Anna Aleta Nadela, known for her work on popular Kapuso series such as "Encantadia" and "Pulang Araw," believes this project has been guided by hope and prayers from the beginning.
"I've been writing teleseryes since my children were little. Encantadia One was my very first project with GMA, and from there, one opportunity led to another. Writing for soaps is a unique experience, but what really drives me is my passion for guiding and uplifting the younger generation. When I learned this project was about young people discovering love, I embraced the challenge, even though I was used to writing from the perspective of mothers and soldiers. This journey has inspired me to grow and see the world through new eyes."
"Throughout this journey, I prayed for guidance every step of the way. I immersed myself in understanding how Gen Z expresses themselves, and I am deeply grateful that my own child helped me bridge the gap to today’s youth. My greatest hope is that this project inspires and uplifts others. Though it’s a new path for me, I am confident that with faith and heartfelt intention, we can truly touch lives and make a difference," Anna said.
Director Jose 'Jojo' Nadela shared the project's challenges to avoid making it preachy. "I found myself looking back on my own high school days, reconnecting with the dreams and energy of today’s youth. Being part of this project feels like an answered prayer—it’s a joyful challenge to bring out both the excitement and the heart of this story. Projects like this nourish the soul and serve as beacons of hope for the next generation."

The advocacy short film "Wait Muna" stars Sparkle GMS artist Althea Ablan and Zyren Dela Cruz, who play high school students. It has now been uploaded to the PUSO official Facebook page.
Althea and Zyren shared inspiring perspectives on patience and the beauty of waiting for true love in real life.
Zyren shared, "I haven’t been in a serious relationship yet, but I believe the right person will come at the perfect time. I’m not in a hurry—I choose to focus on my dreams and trust that love will find me when it’s meant to."
Althea, currently in a relationship with Prince Clemente, shared, "I'm grateful to be in a relationship, but I believe there's no need to rush. Both of us are artists with dreams to pursue, and we support each other as we grow. Ultimately, our journey is ours to shape, and we trust in the right timing for everything.
"I always seek God’s guidance and look for His signs along the way. I’ve learned to embrace life’s journey and trust the process, but working on this film helped me realize the beauty and strength in waiting. When something is meant for you, trust that God will give it to you at the perfect time," she shared.
