Panagbenga flower float parade winners revealed

BAGUIO CITY – The Baguio Flower Festival Foundation Inc. (BFFI) on Wednesday, March 4, announced the winners of the grand flower float parade at the 30th Panagbenga Festival here recently.

McDonald’s, second place last year, was the grand champion in the large category with a P1-million prize. Jollibee, last year’s champion, is second, and earned P400,000. Chooks-to-Go was third with a P300,000 prize.

In the medium category, Chowking, third last year, is this year's champion with a P350,000 prize. Mang Inasal, last year’s champion, is second (P250,000), and Palawan Pawnshop was third (P150,000).

Zaparita’s Garden parrot float topped the small category (P100,000), Eureka Garden was second (P50,000), and another Zaparita’s Garden float is third (P30,000).

Awarding ceremony will be held during the closing ceremony on March 8.

This year’s Panagbenga will be capped by a grand fireworks display.
