HONOR advances its AI vision at MWC 2026 with Robot Phone, Humanoid Robot, and Magic V6
HONOR Magic V6
At Mobile World Congress 2026 in Barcelona, HONOR accelerated its Augmented Human Intelligence (AHI) vision and advanced its ambitious ALPHA PLAN through three interconnected pillars: Alpha Phone, Alpha Store, and Alpha Lab.
Reaffirming its long-term commitment to human-centric AI, HONOR offered a preview of the Robot Phone — a bold exploration of embodied intelligence and what it calls a “new species” of smartphone. The company also unveiled the HONOR Magic V6, its most advanced foldable device yet, alongside new ecosystem products including the HONOR MagicPad 4 and HONOR MagicBook Pro 14. Together, these launches highlight HONOR’s strategy of tightly integrating intelligent hardware and software around real human needs.
James Li, CEO of HONOR, said: “With Human-centric as our lighthouse, we navigate the growth of AI through the two beams of IQ and EQ, bringing three forms of intelligence together. We are exploring the new paradigm of AI devices with Alpha Phone; hosting the new paradigm of the AI ecosystem with Alpha Store; and building the new paradigm of a silicon-carbon civilization with Alpha Lab. With three waves of the Alpha Plan, we now have all the components in place, and we are driving this journey at full warp speed.”

Robot Phone: A New Species of Smartphone
Robot Phone represents HONOR’s vision of embodied AI — combining robotic-grade motion with cinematic imaging and intelligent interaction. Rather than responding solely through touchscreens and voice commands, Robot Phone introduces expressive, motion-based interaction. Equipped with multimodal perception, it can identify sounds, track movement, and maintain visual awareness, enabling more natural and intuitive engagement. The device supports all-angle AI video calling with robot-grade motion control, following users smoothly as they move. It also conveys emotional cues through nods and head movements and can even dance to music — adding a playful, lifelike dimension to smartphone interactions.
To achieve this, HONOR reengineered internal space at a microscopic level. Leveraging foldable-device expertise, the company developed a compact micro-motor and integrated an ultra-compact 4DoF gimbal system. This architecture supports three-axis stabilization for smooth motion in dynamic scenarios. Features such as Super Steady Video, AI Object Tracking, and AI SpinShot (with intelligent 90° and 180° rotation) enable cinematic transitions — even when shooting one-handed.
Built around a 200MP sensor and stabilized gimbal system, Robot Phone bridges the gap between smartphone capture and professional-style storytelling. It offers a glimpse into how embodied AI may shape the next generation of mobile devices.

HONOR Magic V6: Setting a New Foldable Benchmark
While Robot Phone explores embodied intelligence, the HONOR Magic V6 focuses on refining flagship foldable innovation. With an ultra-slim 8.75mm folded profile, reinforced structural integrity, and advanced hinge engineering, Magic V6 balances durability and elegance. It carries IP68 and IP69 ratings for water and dust resistance, ensuring resilience in everyday use.
At its core is HONOR’s fifth-generation silicon-carbon battery technology, developed in partnership with ATL. Featuring an industry-leading 25% silicon content, the 6,660mAh battery achieves higher energy density without compromising slimness — redefining endurance in ultra-thin foldables.
HONOR also showcased its next-generation Silicon-Carbon Blade Battery at MWC 2026, featuring 32% silicon content and 900+ Wh/L energy density — paving the way for foldables to enter the 7,000mAh era.
Magic V6’s dual LTPO 2.0 displays measure 6.52 inches externally and 7.95 inches unfolded, offering adaptive 1–120Hz refresh rates and peak brightness of up to 6,000 nits and 5,000 nits, respectively. The inner display features ultra-thin flexible glass with SGS Minimized Crease Certification and a 44% reduction in crease depth compared to its predecessor. A silicon nitride anti-reflection layer reduces reflectivity to 1.5%, while 4320Hz PWM dimming and AI Defocus Display enhance viewing comfort.
Powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 platform and advanced vapor chamber cooling, Magic V6 delivers sustained performance for gaming, multitasking, and AI-driven workloads. Cross-ecosystem tools also allow seamless collaboration with Apple devices, positioning it as a versatile productivity companion.
Expanding the AI Ecosystem: MagicPad 4 and MagicBook Pro 14
MagicPad 4
HONOR expanded its ecosystem beyond smartphones with the introduction of MagicPad 4 and MagicBook Pro 14.
MagicPad 4, powered by Snapdragon 8 Gen 5, features a 4.8mm ultra-slim body and a 12.3-inch 3K OLED display with a 165Hz refresh rate. AI-enhanced multitasking tools and cross-device collaboration support fluid productivity, including compatibility with Apple’s ecosystem. Through its Linux Lab in Developer Options, the tablet can deploy and run the OpenClaw AI assistant, opening new possibilities for advanced productivity workflows.
MagicBook Pro 14, driven by Intel Core Ultra Series 3 processors, strengthens HONOR’s AI-laptop lineup. It combines a color-accurate 14.6-inch OLED display with intelligent performance management and long battery life, delivering portability and sustained power for creative and professional workloads.

Beyond Smartphones: Entering the Robotics Era
At the event, HONOR also unveiled its first humanoid robot, signaling a broader strategic push into consumer-grade robotics. The company identified three key scenarios for its robots: shopping assistance, workplace inspections, and companionship.
Unlike traditional robotics firms, HONOR leverages its deep user insights gained from smartphones and connected devices. This ecosystem continuity allows embodied AI devices to recognize users, understand preferences, and provide personalized assistance from the outset.
Together, Robot Phone, the humanoid robot, Magic V6, MagicPad 4, and MagicBook Pro 14 demonstrate how HONOR is extending its AHI vision across both digital and physical domains — integrating intelligence more deeply into everyday life.
Availability
HONOR Magic V6 will be available in select markets in the second half of the year, with regional details on configurations, colors, and pricing to be announced locally. Availability and bundles for MagicPad 4 will vary by region.
