The PKKB likewise paid tribute to the late Commissioner Rosario M. Pengson of the City of Malolos for her dedicated service to the province.
Governor Fernando congratulated all the officials and expressed his deep gratitude to the PKKB for initiating programs that promote the empowerment of women and their families.
“Isang taos-pusong pagbati para sa mga bagong talagang komisyunada, gayundin sa mga ni-reappoint at mga outgoing na komisyoner. Labis din ang ating pasasalamat sa PKKB para sa kanilang mga programang nagsusulong ng pagpapalakas ng kababaihan sa lalawigan at ng kanilang pamilya (A heartfelt congratulations to the new commissioners, as well as to the reappointed and outgoing commissioners. We are also very grateful to PKKB for their programs that promote the empowerment of women in the province and their families), he said.
Moreover, PKKB chairperson Dr. Eva Fajardo spearheaded the launch of the Understanding and Loving Interactions are Rewarding and Nurturing (ULIRAN) Family Movement, a program designed for PGB employees and parents of PGB scholars that promotes responsible parenthood and strengthens family relationships.
Established in 1994 and institutionalized in 2000, the PKKB continues to serve as the province’s primary vehicle for connecting with government and non-government organizations.
It remains dedicated to women’s empowerment and improving the quality of life for all Bulakenyo families.
