Man arrested for sexually abusing minor stepdaughter in Marikina
A 35-year-old man, listed as the No. 2 most wanted person in the region, was arrested for allegedly sexually abusing his then 13-year-old stepdaughter in Marikina City.

Eastern Police District (EPD) identified the suspect as “Leo.” He was arrested during a manhunt operation conducted by the Marikina City Police Station Sub-Station 2 in front of a church in Barangay Katipunan in Quezon City on Sunday, March 1.
Based on the investigation, the suspect allegedly sexually abused the victim multiple times between June 2024 and May 2025 inside their residence in Barangay Barangka.
The victim’s uncle reported the incidents and sought police assistance, which prompted the filing of formal complaints and the subsequent issuance of a warrant by the trial judge against the suspect.
The suspect was apprehended by virtue of a Warrant of Arrest issued by Regional Trial Court Branch 168, Marikina City, dated January 27, 2026, in connection with five counts of sexual assault under Article 266-A(2) of the Revised Penal Code (RPC) in relation to Section 5(B) of Republic Act 7610, with a recommended bail of P200,000 for each count; qualified rape of a minor under Article 266-A paragraph 1(d) in relation to Article 266-B of the RPC, non-bailable; and three counts of acts of lasciviousness under Article 336 of the RPC in relation to Section 5(B) of RA 7610, with a recommended bail of P180,000 for each count.
He is now detained at the Marikina City Police Station Custodial Facility.
