Kiray Celis reveals: Live selling pays more than acting

Actress Kiray Celis disclosed that she has earned more from live selling than from her acting career.
While she's not closing the door on showbiz, Kiray said she has no plans to resume her acting career, as she enjoys live selling, which she admits outshines her showbiz earnings.

Kiray made the comments during the Thanksgiving Party for Purple Hearts held at the Enderun College in McKinley Hill, Taguig City, last Sunday.
She also said that she's not considering any showbiz projects this year because she's focused on live selling.
"Hindi pa talaga kaya. May nakita nga akong comment last time, "Sabi ng netizen. Yuck! Online seller na lang. Gusto kong sabihin, 'Doon nga umayos ang buhay ko. Hindi siya online seller lang. Mas doon naging okay ang buhay ng family ko. (I really can't. I saw a comment last time, the netizen said. 'Yuck! She's just an online seller. I want to say, 'That's where my life got better. He's not just an online seller. That's where my family's life got better.)"
"Nakita naman ninyo. Hindi ko kayang bumili ng mga gamit. Kahit na mag-taping ako nang matagal, hindi ko kakayanin bumili ng Land Cruiser o bumili ng van para sa mother ko. (I can't afford to buy things. Even if I tape for a long time, I can't afford to buy a Land Cruiser or buy a van for my mother.)"
"Hindi ko kayang bilhin 'yon kung nate-taping lang ako. Lahat po ng ito ay from online selling at sa negosyo namin. Kaya hindi siya lang at hindi siya yuck! Hindi siya nakakahiya. At hindi siya nakakadiri. (I can't afford to buy that if I'm just taping. All of this is from online selling and our business. So it's not yuck! It's not embarrassing. And it's not disgusting.

"Ngayon ako na ang nagpapaaral sa ibang kamag-anak ko dahil sa online lang na sinasabi nila. Kaya maraming salamat sa lahat ng bumibili ng products ko. (Now I'm the one sending my other relatives to school. Now they only say it's just online. So thank you very much to everyone who buys my products.)"
"Hindi pa talaga kakayanin pagsabayin. Imagine, halimbawa, may taping ako at kasabay ko si Marian Rivera. Hindi ko puwedeng sabihin kay Marian, 'Hindi ako puwedeng mag-taping ngayon.' Baka magulat yung mga big star at kailangan sila ang mag-adjust. (It's really not possible to do it at the same time. For example, imagine I have a shoot with Marian Rivera. I can't tell Marian, 'I can't tape right now.' The big stars might be surprised, and they'll have to adjust.)"
"Iba talaga kapag nakatutok ako, eh. Malakas ang live selling kapag ako ang nakikita nila. (It's really different when I'm focused, eh. Live selling is stronger when they see me)," said Kiray.
Kiray, 30, married her long-time partner, Stephan Estopia, in December 2025. She said her husband was an inspiration for her to venture into business.
In the same event, Kiray also said that she and her husband were being pressured to have their first baby. But Kiray and Stephan are busy growing their business further. Kiray said her husband has been researching baby names.
